my i/e browser keeps crashing on me. it just loads approx 60 pages with nothing on them. then the whole lot just close down.

I would try unistalling and reinstalling.
Its a virus/malware.

Open Windows Explorer (not internet explorer - hold down windows key and press "e").

In the address bar type http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/

Download and install. Then use it as your broswer.

Run a free online virus scanner using firefox here

Will take a few hours. Clean everything

Then download AVG realtime Antivirus
